Local lead sourcing, at scale

The best local leads aren’t in Apollo.

Most local businesses aren’t on LinkedIn, so the big lead tools never see them. Sonar reads their websites the way a person would — and turns whole towns into scored call lists.

Outreach math

Starting out? You need leads by the thousand.

When you’re launching a service business, cold email is how you land the first clients — and cold email is a numbers game. At a healthy reply rate, one week of booked calls takes over a thousand clean, contactable leads. Most lead services meter that out in monthly credits — on Apollo’s entry plan, roughly 1,000 export credits a month, one week of sending. Sonar builds the whole list in an afternoon.

1,000+ contactable leads per afternoon — no monthly credit caps
Direct owner inboxes, not info@ guesses

The local leads problem

Randy’s Hardware is a great lead. It just isn’t on LinkedIn.

So Apollo acts like it doesn’t exist. The big databases need a LinkedIn profile or a corporate email before they’ll even build a record — most owner-run local businesses have neither. They get skipped before you ever see them.

Three minutes later, you’re pitching.

Sonar doesn’t stop at contact info. For every hot lead it drafts the pitch — the issues to bring up on the call, and a ready-made website preview to show off.

The toolkit

Find them. Know them. Win them.

Sonar handles everything between “who’s out there” and “signed client” — your team just sells.

The dossier

Know Randy before you dial.

Every lead opens as a full profile — who owns it, how to reach them, what customers say, and exactly where their web presence is weak. The first call stops being cold.

Why it’s different

Apollo checks a database. Sonar reads the website.

Local owners bury their contact info far deeper than corporate B2B ever does — the email hides on a /contact page, in an about blurb, in the site footer. Databases never index any of it. Sonar scrapes the actual website, page by page, and pulls it out.

Reads every page — contact, about, footer
Finds owner emails no database ever indexed
robots.txt honored
public pages only
polite crawl speed

A scraper with manners

Reads only what a business publishes about itself. Effective and defensible.

This looks great — can you send over what a monthly plan would run us? We’d want the booking widget too.

01
Where does the data come from?
Two places: Google’s public business listings (to find who exists in a town) and each business’s own public website (for owners, emails, phones, and site signals). No purchased contact lists, no stale third-party databases.
02
Is scraping like this allowed?
Sonar only reads what a business publishes about itself on its own public website — the same pages you’d read by hand. It honors robots.txt, crawls politely, and never touches gated or personal data.
03
Does it replace Apollo?
For local businesses — yes, that’s the point. Apollo is built around LinkedIn-style profiles, which most local businesses don’t have. If you also sell to funded startups and enterprises, keep both.
04
What do I need to get started?
A list of towns and the kinds of businesses you sell to. That’s it. Leads flow into GoHighLevel, Google Sheets, or a CSV — whatever your team already uses.

Watch it run your market. Live.

A 20-minute walkthrough. We run your actual city during the call — and you leave with the scored list, whether you buy or not.
